More than just a gym, the Recreation and Wellness Center offers a place for students, faculty, and the community alike to enhance and maintain their physical and mental health. The facility includes three new exercise science focused labs. These labs serve as the catalyst for the Exercise and Nutritional Health Institute, a community-based research institute with a mission to improve health and functional performance. Additional advanced studies labs include motor control and biomechanics as well as spaces suitable for analyzing sprinting and throwing motions.
